Even better than you would imagine!

Ton Onosaka always makes very clever and fine quality magical miracles. This one is right up there with the best of his magic, and really is even better than I expected.

The routine is fun and when the change from Ace to Queen happens, no matter how close you are it looks totally amazing!

The props are first class and you will be very happy with this item. If you have not purchased any of Ton’s work before then this would be a great place to begin.

Every Cardician should have one of these decks

I first saw this deck at the SAM convention in St. Louis and after talking to Larry Becker (great guy by the way) he "demon"stated this deck with some amazing card stuff that was fooling a lot of magicians and card guys alike. First off these are made of quality card stock. They are not bicycles but are close enough to have been withdrawn off the market for legal reasons. Larry told me they would be collectible one day and said to buy two; use one and put one away. They are set up with the Rich Osterlind’s Breakthrough Card Stack and if you are familiar with his system, you can perform miracles with it. Not only that, but they are also marked in such a way that the beauty of these cards will let you reveal the selected top or bottom card. I do know these are getting harder to obtain and if you can find a deck, you should pick one up ASAP. You will not regret it.

I love this wild card effect

This is the only piece of sleight of hand or card magic for that matter that I do. It has a great story and plays well. I keep the original Peter Cane ending because you can show a fan of cards back and front but the rest of my handeling is all Ron,s.
I custom make my own cards for this effect and if I ever start selling them I would like to do it with a copy of this booklet.
Highly recomended

Excellent Out Of Print Book!

Wow! This book has it all! OOP and hard to find. Walter Gibson, the creator of The Shadow and the author of multiple books on magic really outdid himself on this title. A big thick book with lots of photographs. No card magic. All close-up and really nice tricks. Extensive section on Billard Ball and coin magic. You could build an entire act around this book!

The companion book, The Complete Illustrated Book Of Card Magic is also a winner. It is also OOP – Out Of Print!

What a piece of Crap!

This idea of the effect holds great promise, but as it arrives it just does not work. The gimmick – which is a very well known friend of the magician – is too big for the rings and I don’t see how you can perform this the way it explains in the instructions.

The rings could be used for something else, just don’t raise your hopes that you will be doing the Disintegration Vanish anytime soon!

Wonderful Purses!

I’ve always liked Larry’s coin purse and this latest version of his classic is certainly the best of all. As a set of five they are great value and they open up many more routine opportunities.

This set comes with five routines on the well produced DVD with some performances and history of the Coin Purse too. Due to the utility nature of these purses you will quickly be able to think of other routines for them if you so desire. But, you really won’t need to since the routines are very strong and there is something for everyone.

The purses are very finely made in soft leather with a satin lining, and they can be used to switch almost anything that will fit in them. The mechanism is very easy and very clean, and done correctly there is no discernable difference between the two motions. The purses even make the same sound in both cases.

These really are a beautiful piece of work, and probably one of the best things to date to come out of the stable of Becker and Earle over at MentalismUnlimited.com.

Wow even better than Silver, Copper, Brass Transposition!

Perhaps my favorite gimmicked coin effect is the standard: Copper, Silver, Brass Transposition. I like it because it is visually easy to understand, you start clean and end clean, and there is zero reset.

When I first received Chinese Bit I was thinking it was basically the same effect, but with different coins. It turns out that you can do the exact same moves and routine, but due to the differences in the gimmick you can do a whole bunch of other sequences, because unlike the normal Silver, Copper, Brass gimmick, you can show this gimmick on both sides.

So this now is my new favorite coin set. I don’t know how many Joe Stevens has but I suggest you order one now.

Time to Take Flight!

Wow, this is as close to perfection as you could imagine. John Kennedy really has produced the ultimate in coins to glass with Flight Deck.

The mechanism is perfect and works every time, the routine is easy to do and clean, and the effect on the audience is stunning.

I find it hard to believe that you will not only love this beauty, but you will be performing it every chance you get.

Nice Gimmicked Deck – But Why?

I have been performing Paul Curry’s Out of This World for over 30 years, and it has never failed to entertain my audiences. One of the biggest reasons it is a classic of card magic, is that you can use a borrowed deck and perform it pretty much anytime, anywhere.

So why would you ruin it and use a gimmicked deck? It is a great gimmicked deck, but please use it for something else – not Out of This World.

There are some good effects that this deck could be used for, and it does come with some ideas, but using it for Out of This World is certainly not one.

The deck is produced well and the photo-illustrated instructions are superb.
