Another Great Item from Harries!

I have owned a few different Cube A Libre effects and this one, from those fine magic manufacturers in Sweden, might not be quite the very best, but it is very close and I have found it the easiest to use. The other ones I have used worked on a pressure principle. This one uses a simple hidden lever and it makes the mechanism very smooth.

So from a practical stand point this is the most likely to be performed. The gimmicks are made of a fairly light plastic, but they appear to be durable and I have no issues with them. The blocks themselves are wood with numbers stuck on, and the case is plastic. All done with the usual Harries’ quality that we have grown to love. I would probably say that this is one of the nicest items Harries produces.

A very fine and usable version of this wonderful effect.

Incredibly clean bill penetration and easy to do!

Wow! I love this bill penetration effect from Masuda. It looks amazingly fair with no switches or extra gimmicks and immediate reset.

You show a blank piece of paper and a $100 bill. You then fold the $100 and then fold the piece of paper around the $100. You take a simple utility knife, that is real and very sharp, and pierce both paper and bill. You can clearly see that the blade is going through both. You then pull the knife towards you and cleanly cut them. But when you open them up, only the paper is torn, the bill is perfect.

This has to be seen to be appreciated how clean it is.

Highly Recommend!

In my opinion this is the best drawer box in the market!

In my opinion this is the best drawer box in the market. I’ve seen and examined many other brands and there is no doubt that this one is the best quality manufactured so far!!.

The crafmanship of oak wood is superb, and the price is affordable too. All others from from other dealers are not up to the standards and only replicate what Mikame has to offer. Highly recommended for close-up magic production and routines involving exchange. A full deck of poker cards fits confortably in the mini-drawer box. The box is now hard to obtain, and is becoming a collectors item.

Beautiful and Clever!

Wow this is another beautiful Mikame Craft piece! So often I am surprised by how nice their magic is due to the poor photos the dealers seem to have of their products.

But this box is very solid and beautifully made, and it is one of the cleanest vanishes I have seen. It fits together perfectly and breaks apart just as easily, with nothing to be seen at all – you are left totally clean!

The Holy Grail of Card Flourishes

This book takes you through the basics to the full blown knuckle busters that only Jerry and God can do. My fingers were in traction for weeks and I was only to page 30 something. Seriously, this opus is the first and last word on card flourishes. I would highly recommend it to beginner and expert alike. After watching the dvd that I purchased with the book and finding the energy to lift my jaw off the floor, I found that with hard work and lots of practice, I was performing some of the more difficult moves with more skill than I thought I had in my pethetic hands. (I was born with 2 left thumbs 🙂 The moves are taught and explained very thoroughly, so well that even an idiot like myself was able to follow along. Also, thankfully there were thousands of pictures that illustrated each point in the flourish. Phew! Highly recommended.

Fabulous Craftsmanship

I have always loved drawer boxes and card boxes. This drawer box by Magic Wagon is beautifully crafted with inlaid wood and a design unlike a traditional magic drawer box. It is another rich example of the precision craftsmanship and attention to detail that the folks at Magic Wagon give to building magic that is beautiful to look at as well as perform. Quality always endures, and I love having this beauty in my collection. You would be well advised to purchase this for your collection, as I have not seen anything like it before, and it is an exquisite piece.

This has my highest recommendation.

Exquisite Craftsmanship

This item is gorgeous to look at and hold. The Magic Wagon folks have crafted this magic piece that is just exquisite in every way, from the precision fitting of all the pieces, the inlaid wood design, the interior of the box and the beautiful mirror finish. Everything fits together perfectly. The finish is like a fine piano.

I like the effect of the rope penetrating the block, and it is quite easy to set up and perform. It looks great in an office on a shelf or on display at home amidst other pieces in a collection.

The Chiang Mai Block and every detail about it has my highest rating. Magic Wagon has truly set a high standard for detail and beauty in their design of this unique piece of magic.

If you like beautiful magic, then get this item. It is truly a collector’s find.

Wonderful!

I love Francois’ Paddle Set. The one I have incorporates both the Egyptian and the Geisha designs. The craftsmanship is wonderful, and as I have said before, Francois’ passion and love of magic shows in the pieces I have from him.

Each paddle is crafted with beautiful artwork that enables you to tell a story with each paddle. The mahogany box to house the paddles is also beautifully crafted, and I love having it to display on my desk or shelf. The box also is of such high quality that it makes me strive to think of some magic to perform using just the box itself.

Francois is passionate about all of his magic, and I would recommend his magic to any collector or person who is also passionate about quality magic. I already have several pieces, and I will continue to acquire everything he makes.

The Best version of T.A. Waters’ Box Office

There have been many versions of Box Office by T.A. Waters – all unauthorized as far as I know. However, this one is probably the most practical and most reliable I have seen.

The box is small – 3.5 x 3.5 x 2 – and the mechanism works perfectly every time. Unlike some other versions, this box was clearly built from scratch for this routine.

In effect any one of the animals is chosen by the spectator and a single prediction is found in the bottom of the box, that matches. The effect has a different outcome every time. The spectator can open the box and open the prediction themselves. It is a very clean method.

This piece is not part of the Collector’s line of Magic Wagon effects, but it still is a beautiful piece and I really hope it is performed – since it is a really great piece of mentalisim.

Highly Recommended!
