Yes An Even Better Mental Epic

So Astor made his name, as far as I’m concerned, by creating the perfect $link(3394,Perfect Match) effect. Now he has done the same with Mental Epic. There are a number of No Force Mental Epics around, but this one works differently and is cleaner than any of them.

You really need to see this to appreciate how much better it is than any other Mental Epic. The manufacture in heavy plastic is also very durable. This is one you will use!

Just Too Good!

I really shouldn’t be buying all this $link(nd=gallery&keywords=LabcoMagic,LabcoMagic) but it is so much better than any other electronic effects I have purchased before that I just cannot resist!

This item is beautifully made and works like a dream – just like all of Labco’s magic. All of the electronics are perfectly hidden and you would have no clue that electronics are even involved – just like all good electonic magic should be!

The basic effect is that you can always tell which one of five small jewelry boxes are picked up. In the featured routine that comes with this outfit a set of Mental Post-It is also included which allows for this wonderful effect: you start by showing 4 open boxes each with a different colored die in, and then you make a prediction and write it on a post-it note and place it in the fifth box. You now turn your back and ask 5 different spectators to each choose a box and hide it from view. Now you turn around and point to the person with black die. You have them roll it and point to the person with the prediction – it matches the rolled die. Now you tell the remaining 3 spectators which colored die they have.

What I like about this outfit is that you can place anything in the 5 boxes and use it as the cornerstone of your own routines.

Most highly recommended!

Beautiful as only Milson-Worth can make!

I’ve always had a soft spot for this item from $link(nd=gallery&keywords=milson.worth,Milson-Worth), but never managed to pick one up. I recently found one on $link(nd=ron,Ron Allesi’s site) and was very quick to snap it up.

Although, this is a perfect mirror box – very deceptive indeed, even close up – it is also a great routine. You show the empty box. Then you thread a cord through the box and introduce an orange into the mix. You also borrow a ring. After some magical incantations the orange and ring disappear in a hanky and appear inside the box, threaded on the cord that has been in full view all along.

A great magical classic and built only the way that Milson-Worth know how!

Great Quality and Unique Magic

This is my first item from Robert Swadling and I must say how impressed I am with the quality and uniqueness. This is a wonderful prop and I’m sure it will be a great hit when I perform it.

The dagger is very nicely made and the basic effect is as follows: a card is chosen and returned to the deck. The deck is wrapped in paper and tied with string. The dagger is shown and thrust into the deck. The deck with dagger is held over a box or top hat. At your command the deck bursts into flames and vanishes leaving only the chosen card on the sword.

A very surprising and shocking revelation!

Everything about the item is top quality and I look forward to hunting down more items from Bob.

More Incredible and Unique Magic From Bob Swadling

Why is it that you can go for months or years without finding some cool magic, and suddenly it is all over the place! Here is another real miracle from the great British dealer Bob Swadling.

This is actually my current favorite wallet effect … hello still $link(nd=wallets, more wallets)! It is different, beautifully made and a real fooler. You show your wallet with three colored business cards and some cash and envelopes in. With your back turned you ask 3 different people to each remove a card and place it in the opaque envelopes (or their pockets). There is no way you could know who chose which card. Now you bet each spectator that you know the color they chose – if you get any wrong they keep the cash. Of course you get each one right!

This is foolproof and works by some sophisticated electronics that you would never suspect.

Very nice indeed!

Masterful Woodwork and Very Deceptive Too!

$link(nd=gallery&keywords=colin.rose,Colin Rose) makes some amazing magic and this item is no exception. It is a little box, but it works beautifully. You can very cleanly show it all round and then tip it over to show it empty inside, and yet in an instant the box can be full!

Due to it’s size there are very few angle issues with this item since the hands can easily shield them.

Colin Rose (and Five of Hearts Magic) is probably making the best wooden items available today.

Wow this is Genius!

Lubor Fiedler really has invented some amazingly clever items – this one is no exception. You can repeatedly divine what number shows on top of the die, even though there is no way you can see through the box that holds it. Everything can be minutely examined and nothing is added or taken away.

I really like this one!

The Most Elegant Box Office Available!

There have been many versions of Box Office by T.A. Waters. However, this one is easily the most elegant I have seen. Of course this is no surprise as it comes from those wonderful craftsman at $link(nd=wagoncollector,The Magic Wagon). In fact, this is their second version of the same effect – they used to also sell an item called $link(3246,Mental Safari) which is sadly no longer available.

This item is stunning and the mechanism works superbly. One of the neat features is that the 4 "paintings" you can predict from can be anything you fancy. As the item is sold it does not come with any paintings – I made up these 4 ESP cards as they looked visual and were easy to write a prediction for. But of course you can make up anything that fits in with your story.

This item is quite a bit larger than their old Mental Safari but it will have the collectors drooling!

Highly Recommended for Collector’s of Fine Magic everywhere!

I love this Calculator!

This is my favorite effect from the $link(nd=gallery&keywords=Cesaral,Cesaral guys). The calculator looks clean and can be minutely examined, it also works as a basic calculator. Yet at any time you can control precisely what numbers are displayed on the screen – it can be in a box when it happens and you never need to touch it.

The method involves some pretty high-end electronics and the update to the calculator is just a remote button push away. Normally, I would not buy an electronic piece of magic that looked so obviously electronic. However, this one really looks clean. I kind of ignored this when I first saw it, but thanks to a compelling description by John Mendoza on ebay I picked it up and could not be happier with it.

The only issue it has is you have to pull out the batteries from the calculator if you are not going to be using it, as they will quite quickly drain down otherwise.
