A fun routine – better than the original!
This is a great routine based on the original idea and props of Bob McAllister.
I think it is probably better than the original.

Nice dice
I have this one for a time now and it is every time a great pleasure to perform. The look at their faces when they see the dice exploding in eight (!) little dice is priceless. Very, very easy to perform with an instant (surprising) reward. Totally undetectable gimmick. This is what I like in magic most…
Although it is good value for money, the props could have been nicer made (it is a production item…) and it is a little bit difficult to carry around. But believe me, you will love this.

Card Spider Tip
I had the same problem setting that thread up so here’s what I did:
Attach the end of about 15″ of thread to the back near the spindle. Take a piece of wire about 6″ long and bend the end of the wire into a tiny ‘J’ hook that fits through the hole. Put your hook through the hole, snatch the thread, and pull it through to the front. Lightly scotch tape the tread to the back CENTER edge of the card to be forced and place it in the pocket. When the tread wraps around the spindle and the card goes into the spider’s legs the tape will release the card. With this wire hook gadget you can set the effect up in about 2 minutes. I’ve been using the same thread for 8 years.
Hope this works for you, it’s a great effect and David Ginn has a wonderful kids routine in one of his books.

Like a drawer box, but different
This is essentially allows you to do what a drawer box does, but has a slightly different method.
Wonderful workmanship from the Douglas-Wayne Illusioneering guys.

Houdini eat your heart out!
Here’s a neat little close-up miracle based on the Substitution Trunk. Two cards are shown the queen and the king, and they changes places very cleanly.
The props are well crafted and the effect is certainly easy to do and convincing.

Still clever and now in Stage Size!
If you have seen the original Nomadic Void you’ll know what to expect here. The quality is good and the cards are much bigger so that they can be seen in larger venues.
I prefer the close-up version, since the handling is just a bit easier due to the size of the cards. But still a wonderful effect.

Another Card Box?
Well here we have another card box! Just when you thought ten was enough here is another one!
This is pretty nice, well made and does the job. I guess I still wonder about the need for so many card boxes, and why I keep buying them!

Nice box, and it rattles too!
This is a clever chest that not only allows the secret addition of a prediction, but also has a built in rattle.
The secret door can be opened even once the box is locked and it is very beautifully made. It comes with an asprin box, but to my mind the little keepsake box I added looks better.
Owen craftsmanship at its best!

Nice props and great effect.
This box is beautifully made and although the method is simple I think it looks real effective.
The necklace is shown, taken out, vanished, and then it reappears in the box. Simple plot and beautiful props!

Nice and different Johnson Prod. item
I have owned one of this for many years and I believe they were discontinued years ago…but I could be wrong. It’s a clever diversion from the coin line that put Johnson Products on the map. These are nicely made props that basically causes a blank card “sealed” between two clear lucite plates to change to a selected card. The routine is entertaining and one you will get a kick out of performing it.
