Storying telling of Epic Paddle Proportions!

This newest set of paddles from the French Craftsman, François Danis, takes story telling to a whole new level. With this set he uses all six paddles to take you on a magical journey through Japan in the Middle Ages, and what a great ride it is!

I have never seen paddles woven so extensively into a patter presentation, and I am very impressed. What I think is particularly cool is you now have a reason for these funny shaped pieces of wood – they are your story boards to explain and enhance the story. What a great idea!

These particular, paddes are made in Mahogany and the box is made in oak plywood and painted a crimson red with gold trim and symbol on the front. A very striking display to be sure.

François has been slowly, but surely growing on me and I feel quite certain that he will be around for a long time to come, and we will continue to marvel at his fresh take on beautiful magic.

Highly Recommended, and amazing value (at least for now)!

The Best Bottles around today!

The Multiplying Bottles is one of those routines that magicians think is obvious, but to lay people it seems amazing and plays very well. I had a set of Multiplying Bottles a few years ago and they were wonderful. Unfortunately, they were almost impossible to find, and many people contacted me for information. These new bottles from the established Swedish frim, Harries are probably as good as my old set and certainly represent the best bottles I have see available today.

They look and feel amazing! The routine that comes with them is also probably better than the fabled Ken Brooke routine and you don’t have to try and hunt down his classic booklet – which seems increasingly hard to find anyway. These bottles also have the liquid compartment feature where the glass fills up with wine at the end.

This is the time to try this classic, and with these bottles you cannot go wrong!

Grind Away Wolf Man!

Ok so the only thing we have come to expect from Chance Wolf is incredible quaility and innovation with props that you can really use. Well Chance has done it again! What a wonderful bright prop with all the right buttons and switches and everything so solid you know it will not only last a lifetime, but it will not let you down on the night either.

If you ever need to vanish a ring and want to make it more of a feature then using this Ultimate Ring Grinder is the only way to go. The word "Ultimate" is used a lot, just like the word "Awesome" – neither of which should be used lightly. This is the ultimate ring grinder for sure, and the Grand Canyon is still awesome. Whether it be for Ring in Gumball, Nest of Boxes, or one of a million other places – there is only one Grinder to use and that is the one from The Wolf Man!

As usual Highly Recommended!

Harries has so much great Stage Magic!

Harries really are a dying breed of old time dealer with great magic and great quality. I have said before they are not quite there with Milson Worth or Chance Wolf, but if you want to perform Stage and Parlour work you could easily choose a whole act from their offerings and be delighted with all the items.

This piece is basically the old Himber Vanishing Bottles and it looks and works better than the original. In effect, you show 6 different bottles of booze to the audience and then take out one bottle covered up in a tube. The audience try to guess which bottle you have and they are all wrong since it has changed into a (much smaller) bottle of pop and when you show the "box" that the other 6 bottles are in it breaks apart and is clear to everyone that all of the other bottles have vanished!

What a great routine and what great props!

Card Go Revisited

This is a very nice item from El Duco, and although there is no mention of it in the instructions it is clearly based on the old Jack Hughes Card Go. The quality is better than the Jack Hughes version and the routine includes a nice twist that allows you to vanish the card instantly and then have it appear in an envelope. The card can even be signed.

This is certainly a nice looking prop and one of the better things that El Duco makes. The only issue I found with it was causing the card to vanish takes a bit of practice since the release requires a tilt action rather than moving a pin as in the older version. But otherwise it works everytime and the card vanish is smooth and accurate.

The whole unit packs flat for transporting.

This Outhouse is the IN thing!

I have followed Chance’s magic since he opened up shop, but never dived into his Wacky children effects because of the size and lack of interest in children’s magic. Well, I have learned that children’s magic can be quite entertaining to an adult audience. The routine is often a complete show in itself with a comical story to back it up…it always brings a big smile, and a chuckle, just imagining the presentation in your head when you read the instructions.

The new Wacky Micro-magic line is a beauty consisting of tiny, very colorful, entertaining, and well built props. This new Mini Outhouse is, simply, adorable! It captures most, if not all, of its big brother’s features…actually the "hole" seat in the Mini is more consistant with a real outhouse than the flushing toilet in the big model, but that’s such a minor issue.

This is an all wood construction with a "rustic", but very appropriate, look..hey, have you ever seen an outhouse with the looks of a Frank Lloyd Wright design and built 😉 The workmanship is superb and everything functions well. It has been an honor to add these new Wacky Micro-Magic items to my collection. Will definitely look forward to more from this builder…thanks, Chance!

My Favorite of the Micros so far!

Chance Wolf has never failed to deliver – whether it be high end stage resotrations, amazing kids magic, museum quality paddles, innovative stage spectacles, or his micro line. It is very clear that whatever he touches turns to gold.

The high level of quality of production, delivery, presentation, and innovation make Wolf’s Magic the number one producer of new magic today. I don’t see any other dealer comparing with the quality, originality, or value for money.

This particular micro item is wonderful and my favorite of all of his micro items. Small enough to collect and amazing enough to perform!

Keep it up Chance we know you have more to come!

A Great Mini Illusion

This is a wonderful mini illusion that is great for parlour or small stage settings and it looks pretty amazing. In effect you have a card chosen and discover it is the wrong card. As punishment you fire up the fan and the audience can clearly see the fan rotating back and front. Then you put a cover on the front with two armholes and you take their card and thrust it through from the back of the fan. When you hand emerges out the front, the card has been ripped up but it has changed to their card, and your hand is unharmed, with the fan still spinning!

The motor can be heard all the time and the fan can be seen to keep spinning before, during, and after your hand goes through. This item looks just like a real fan of about 10" x 10". This makes for a great alternative to head and wrist choppers, and looks more dangerous.

Dean’s Triangle

George and Andy are right on the money. This is an incerdible piece of magic. The routine and the props are first class as are the 3 people invovled in the production. The Schoolcraft coins are, as always perfect. The table by Malloy Modern magic is perfection and the routine and DVD by Dean are a joy. Everything is explained perfectly and the DVD is very well edited. You are able to spend your time on presentation since all the props work so well.

Thank you to everyone involved. $750 is a fair price for what you get and you will never get more enjoyment out of anything you buy. You will floor people with this.
