What a Clever Box this is!

So this is a special version of the Ghost Host Box Jr. Billet Forcing Box (which is similar to the Poltergeist Box) made with expensive Wormwood and with brass accents. There are only two of these in existence since the maker, Sam Hawley (PSIMAN), has passed away.

It does allow the spectator to open the box and tip out the billets. One of the nice features of this box is that you can tip the box upside down and shake the billets out and everything will appear normal if they look inside the box.

It has a large capacity and depending on your size of billets you could easily get 30-60 billets in here.

Highly Recommended for Collector’s and Mentalists.

Beautiful, Accurate, and Dependable

So 2013 was a wonderful year for Magic Wagon and they produced some really outstanding effects. Like all of their items these days it sold out very quickly. Their magic always looks amazing and yes this is also a winner!

The box allows you to detect which way up a golden medallion is placed and in what location (1,2, or 3). It sends a wireless signal to a small remote and also has a vibration mode. It works perfectly every time.

You can then place three containers (with $10, $20, and $100 in for example) in the box and detect where each currency value is.

All of this without once turning around. Very clean electronics hidden into the box with no signs and everything can be examined.

Simply wonderful, and a great way to end an amazing year of magic! I can’t wait for 2014!

High Quality, Clean, and Amazing

This effect is variation on a classic Al Koran routine and I must say how beautifully made the wallets are and how clean the whole effect is.

In performance, you show a deck of cards clearly to be all different. You show your wallet with a single card facing back towards them and a hundred Dollar bill. If you don’t get the prediction right they win the cash!

You ask them to simply count the cards face-up on to your hand and stop whenever they feel like it – it appears there is no force. You open your wallet and turn over the card (there is only one card in the wallet), and it matches their prediction. Now for the final surprise finish the wallet is turned over and printed in gold on the back of the wallet is the name of the card they chose.

Reset is a snap, and the result can be different between performances, so it can be done in a walk around situation.

The only down side with this effect is that you should ideally wear a jacket or something with large pockets, pant or shirt pockets are unlikely to be large enough.

A Great Variation of a Classic Onosaka Effect

I’ve always loved Ton Onosaka’s effect Lucky Lady, and now it is even better.

It is way more than the old pin the queen trick. I did it on my kids over the weekend and they loved it. You can keep pinning the queen they cannot, and then in the end you ask them to close their eyes and they finally do pin the queen, but only because it has changed to one jumbo queen.

But with the new one you have the option of a different ending where the queen disappears from the cards and ends up in your jacket pocket.

Wonderfully made and something different!

Another Winner from Ton

Who else makes such colorful, high-quality, packs flat items like these? Ton Onosaka is certainly in a realm of his own with these items. This is a great little routine for kids with the usual turn it around action and a surprise ending of the big cat. Not as mysterious as his Rainbow Dice, but still a great item particularly for the children’s performer.

Perfection

When I watched this on David’s site I was very intrigued by the effect – I really didn’t know how all of the different actions inside the box were happening. So I decided to plop down the cash and get one. This was a bit of a leap of faith, but I really like the Regal mind and love Owen’s construction so was pretty confident it would be fine.

When I received the box I first examined the whole thing and couldn’t see anything – I had to watch the video to see the secret. When the secret was divulged I was very happy. Not only is this box built to perfection, the method is also perfect. It cannot be performed surrounded but otherwise what you see in the demo is what you get.

I don’t want to give any more away with respect to the secrecy that David has been trying to maintain for this high end item, but I could not be happier with this beautiful effect.

Highly Recommended for Collectors and Performers who appreciate fine props.

The Most Beautiful Prop Ever?

Well it may not be the most beautiful prop, but it is easily the most beautiful drawer box ever. This is absolutely breathtaking. I’ve always liked the drawer box as a production method, and the Oriental Drawer Box from Worth Magic is a real beauty. Also, I’ve always been very partial to Owen’s Sesame Cabinet. But when I saw this stunner, I fell in love. It is probably Milson-Worth’s finest piece – I can’t think of anything that either Jim Simon or Lyn Johnson have done that is more perfect.

The mechanism is perfect and the paint job is breathtaking. It is almost like someone said to Lyn Johnson build me the most beautiful box you can think of regardless of cost. He certainly delivered. My understanding is there are only three or four of these out there, and that would help explain the price.

It is totally flawless and a time when I wish I had six stars! As long as I have room, I will be keeping this bad boy.

Highly Recommended for Magic Collectors and True Romantics everywhere!

What a Pretty and Clever Effect!

This is one of the early Collector’s Workshop items that is often overlooked. You can still get it today and you should! When you see the price you will be even more excited to get one as it is great value too!

Briefly the effect is this: You show five brass napkin rings each with a different colored silk passing through. You take each brass ring and remove the silk and place it in a supplied blue bag. As you remove each silk you can clearly show the brass ring is empty and you assemble each ring together to form a tube. The tube remains in full view all the time. Then, you have a silk selected from the bag and this silk vanishes leaving just the other 4 silks. You now turn to the tube and push a wand or pen or similar and the chosen, vanished silk pops out from the end of the tube.

This is easy to do though the handling takes a little practice and nothing is added or taken away. You will be delighted with the way the gimiick works so well.

I really like this hidden gem and I think you will too.

Highly recommended

Beautiful in its execution.

Wow, talk about an amazing utility device. This is by far my favorite card find of the decade. A bit like when you first come across a card box or a himber wallet, you start thinking of all these wonderful ideas.

I use Extractor for the cleanest signed card to wallet and I have never felt comfortable doing this before. It is lightning fast and defies explanation. I close my walk around performance with it now, and I’m immediately ready to go again.

Rob Bromley truly is a genius with cards.

You will find plenty of uses for this – buy two because these are made up by hand and who knows when they will stop making them. And how will you ever fool them again without the amazing Extractor?

Highly Recommended for all magicians who want to amaze their audience!

A Wonderful and Friendly Card Picking Goose

Growing up in the UK I have always had a soft spot for Jack Hughes and over the years I have found myself drawn to his creations. This goose is a wonderful example of his great looking magic.

The Goose looks adorable and is made well and sturdy. The spring clip mechanism is certainly simpler in design than the type used by Warren Hamilton with his masterpiece Jo-Anne but it works well for single cards.

If you’re looking for a different looking duck that will have everyone fall in love with her, Mother Goose is the way to go!
