Good accessory for vanishing a ring

Decent prop…nothing extraordinary but a different tool to “vanish” a ring for your Khartoum Ring Fantasy or Creation. With the right presentation it could probably stand on its own. The basic effect is that you tell the spectator that his/her ring needs cleaning so out comes the ring cruncher. The ring is dropped into the the apparatus and a crank turned making a rather distressing sound. You level the cruncher to pour out the ring but only “gold dust” comes out…Oops!

Cute little guy!

For the mini-magic collectors out there, this is a very well built version of the classic card duck effect. The mechanics work smoothly and the finish is great; paint is thick and smoothly applied for durability. The routine with the blindfold is cute. Well recommended. I bought mine over 12 years ago and the bottom has what looks like a serial number (113); I am not sure if this is still being done.

Another nice one from Gerlitz!

This is another clever and beautifully made effect from Richard Gerlitz, from his lower priced collection!

Although, its hard to really say choosing one out of two can be magical with the routine and sublties that Richard has placed into this effect is a rare little fooler.

I don’t know if I’ll ever be buying his big and beautiful stuff again, but with these smaller pieces at least it keeps me happy!

Thought Transmitter

GOOD TRICK. It is extremely good. You really do know EXACTLY what the spectator is thinking. It is that simple, relies on presentation. As the name suggests, it relies on a secret electronic device to give you the necessary info via ESP.

HOWEVER… the battery can wear out; transmitting ESP thoughts DRAINS the power. If this happens, you must pay TWENTY BUCKS for a new TTD (Thought Transmitting Device).

It is still EXTREMELY GOOD and I can reccomend it to ANY good actors.

Simple and Very well made

I haven’t been able to afford some of RIchard’s stuff recently but picked up a couple of his cheaper items over Christmas. This box is not a sure-shot box which is what I thought it was. But it works real well, and to my mind is less error prone than the old sure-shot boxes.

A simple ruse allows a very clean prediction of the shaken dice. And of course its very clean and beautifully made as is all of Richard’s stuff!

This looks very real!

If you look at the photos of this effect it should look very realistic to you. The picks are nearly all ungaffed and it really looks like you are sticking them straight through your hand.

A clever optical illusion is played on the audience and I use this as a warm-up for Death Trap so it has even more impact.

Clean force when you want to force a color

Lee Woodside is always looking for some simple ideas and nice looking materials that he can turn into wonderful marvels to fool and entertain.

When you need to force a color nothing comes cleaner than this deck. They look innocent and the force is sure-fire with no skill.

Nice props and direct effect!

This is a nicely made prop that allows you to detect which card is the spectators, supposedly due to their fingerprints. As you place different cards into the slot at the top, everything is quiet until suddenly the bell goes off, and of course its their card.

Well made, easy to do and a bit different.

Don’t leave home without your Jets!

These are great! If you want a simple and portable backdrop system that is well priced and versatile then look no futher than these Jet Sets from Abbotts.

I have had two sets of material created for them: one in black the other in red, white and blue as shown and they really add to the impact of your performance.

There are better backdrop systems on the market, but for the price these Jets are hard to beat!
