Review by Andy Martin for The Four Elements by Magic Wagon

I’ve always been a fan of the Tele-Vision type box, but I must say I do like the look and clever mechanism that Magic Wagon have employed here. It is simpler and more reliable than the old method and surely a fooler for those not in the know. Just another beautiful day in the world of Magic Wagon!

Sometimes you pay for what you get. In this instance it is true. To enter this form of entertainment, you have to think like a spectator. Anticipate what they will think. First of all, everyone is familiar with remote control car door openers. Remote control toy cars and planes. Authenticity is the key. This works fine but looks like a remote control toy. It is no Wenger Spirit Bell which I own. Also, there are other fine Bells on the market that look old and authentic. The base on this is too thick and the way the bell rings looks very fishy. If you are doing a young children’s party, this will be fine. However if you want to be taken seriously by an adult audience, my advice is to save up and spend more and get a Spirit bell which can be examined, looks very old and realistic and can be put together right in front of your audience. This is one product that you do not want to cheap out on. The spectator will see nothing. The Wenger Spirit Bell is also hand crafted. I highly recommend it.
Review by Andy Martin for Fair Play by Steve Haynes

Great Gimmick but ruins a perfect trick. Free Will by Deddy Corbuzier is the perfect strolling miracle! All props are 100% normal with zero reset and no moves whatsoever. What Fair Play has tried to do is “improve” Free Will. But to my mind it is a huge step backwards. The gimmick itself is well made and works well once you get the knack, but for this effect not only is it unnecessary it makes a simple premise – the fact that no matter what the spectator does the outcome is always the same (i.e. they don’t actually have any Free Will), but it also adds some necessary reset into the mix and now relies on the props to be in your hand when you do the reveal. Worse, if anyone ever sees the same trick twice they’ll want to really examine the gimmick because it changes based on the outcome – when it is meant to be a fixed piece of paper.
After speaking to Paul Richards at some length about Free Will I know a lot of Magicians don’t get it at first (if ever), but it is not a prediction, it is about the Spectator’s ability to exercise Free Will, which is why it is important the outcome is in fact always the same. I know it took me a long time to fully grasp this. In fact I used to carry two different outcomes around! When I had that mindset I would have given this item five stars, but now that I see the light I will stick with Free Will every time. It is one of my favorite strolling items and doesn’t suffer from any of the problems that Fair Play is attempting to solve.
Review by Magic Vincent for Wenger Spirit Bell (with carry box) by Nick Wenger
5 out of 5
I have just taken delivery of my Wenger Spirit Bell and will perform it for a Children’s Halloween show next week. A few of the things I like about this bell is that the movement of the swing arm can be seen from a great distance. It is more visible then a Bell that just shakes a little. If people are hard of hearing they will see this clearly. It looks very old and authentic. It does not look like any bell I have ever seen. It has various parts which can be put together right in front of the audience. They can even be examined. It is angle proof and is light. It packs flat and plays big.
The showmanship and a great creative story is critical in getting the most out of this. Changing the storylines means you can perform this for young and old alike. Excellent. Highly recommended!

Clearly impossible box
I just picked this up on the Magic Cafe and I love it. I think it is one of the best card to impossible locations out there. The box is stunning and the handling is simple. I plan on using it with Dean Dill’s Revelation. A+
Review by Andy Martin for Cesaral Magic Bulb Pro by Cesaral

There Can Be Only One Magic Bulb!
So if you have read my review for the Cesaral Spirt Bell you’ll know that I consider it the finest one of its kind by a mile. Well Cesar Alonso has done the same thing with his Magic Bulb Pro. It is perfect and beautiful.
The Cesaral Magic Bulb comes in three main styles: the standard one, the pro one, and a remote control one. For pretty much all situations I think the Pro one is the best. You can see inside the bulb and everything just looks fine – it simply looks like a real bulb. When it glows it glows bright and looks like a real bulb. It comes with a switch that you can plug-into the wall to show the bulb is real by turning the switch on and off – which is a real convincer of how normal the bulb is.
Although you can have your own programmed sequence created by Cesar, the standard one will wait for 15 seconds and the produce some bright flickers. Then the bulb waits for 20 seconds and then gradually turns brighter and brighter and then it gradually turns off. After the initial setting it will do this without you touching it again. If you watch it in action, it seems perfectly normal.
The bulb appears to last for months without a recharge and each charge can be used for many performances. As with all things released by Cesaral Magic, everything is well thought through and all appears natural in your hands.
Cesaral Magic is not cheap but it is worth every penny – give me Cesaral Quality over quantity any day!
Highly Recommend for Performers and Collectors everywhere.
Review by Andy Martin for Dice of Poseidon by Magic Wagon
4 out of 5
Convoluted but Clever
So I’m not so sure of the story line for this item and it uses water which most of the time is just a pain. However, it works amazingly well and is very clever. In fact, Magic Wagon give directions where you just use one die but I have done it perfectly fine with two and even three. Two is probably the safest but with some practice I think three is also very possible. Of course predicting two or three dice is much more impressive than just one.
The key thing is that the dice can be shaken up many times in the glass and on the tabletop and they will always show different numbers, but when you pour the magic water (Poseidon’s) in, you can always predict the numbers. It is very cool to watch.

A Complete Fooler
This is one of my favorite closeup tricks. I’ve yet to have anyone figure this out. Even other magicians and my significant other couldn’t fathom the secret of this diabolically clever trick! Get it!

Another Beautifully made Prediction
So Magic Wagon make their props perfectly and this item is no exception. It is easy to operate and set-up and works every time. In many ways this is like Al Koran’s Gold Medallion – both use a similar method and require a little bit of boldness to pull off.
I’m not sure if this one is for me really, but the props are amazing as usual.

Beautiful Box and Clever Method
Here is another beauty from the Magic Wagon team. The box is made of a gorgeous naturally aged teak wood with inlay. It uses a wonderful and clever principle that means there are no switches, mirrors, lights, batteries, or electronics and everything is self-contained. Even though the box appears to be innocent, you are able to divine what has been placed in the box, every time.
It really is an amazing prop and something you will be proud to own. Recommended for Magic Collectors everywhere.
