Entertaining and Clever Method

When I first watched the video for this I was not sure how it worked at all and really liked the routine. The box is very nicely made and looks great in the parlor or on stage. The method is easy when you know how, but I still think it is clever and a fooler for sure.

This could be a real hit in your show. Great Comedy and Great Magic!

A Nice Acrylic Frame for a Classic Effect!

So this is a version of the Dr. Stanly Jaks ‘Supersonic Card Prediction’ with a nice acrylic frame. You might remember the awful one Hank (do you remember him?) put out about twelve years ago. This is much better.

The frame itself is very nicely made and whether you use it for this trick or need it for another display of cards it does look neat. If you were thinking of using it for an Ultissimo type effect you might be disappointed as the frame does not easily rotate around. It probably could with some filing down, but as it arrives it is pretty stiff (the way it should be of course).

A Great Version of the Color Changing Records

I’ve had various color changing records/cds over the years but this is the most magical and visual. It even includes a final color change at the end using the Instant Art principle which looks very clean indeed.

The props are well made and the quality is about as good as the Ton Onosaka Nu-Way Color Changing Records which was my favorite up until now.

The effect and routine is a little different from the more classic Silk Serenade by Pavel, which many of these are based upon but I prefer it.

Clever and Colorful!

So this is Magiro’s Fantastica or Fantastic Triple Production. From a seemingly empty clear tube you produce 12 silks in total in 3 distinct phases.

It all looks very convincing and it is easy to perform. If you were doing a parlor act and wanted to produce a lot of color this would be the way to go.

There is one load but it is made under cover of the first production which is basically automatic and there is plenty of misdirection for the simple action. So you end up producing all of these silks for a clear tube which is clearly empty at the beginning. Very nice!

Colorful and Beautifully Made

I was always a big fan of Magic Hands from Germany. They consistently made high quality magic and had some great ideas. This was one of their big sellers and the quality was amazing.

If you’re looking for a showy production from three silks that you show individually with no body loads this is the one for you. The umbrellas are very well made and very bright and showy. Comes with all the silks and umbrellas you need to work this beauty!

Nicely made and Packaged, but a Fooler?

So these have been going around and although the unit works fine and looks well made I don’t think anyone is going to be fooled by this – well maybe a four year old.

The base is too big and the ringer on the bell is huge and you can clearly see what looks like a magnet as part of the ringer. For the life of me I cannot understand why they didn’t use a much smaller magnet.

This is no Anverdi who did a much better job 30+ years ago and this is certainly no Nick Wenger either who did a supreme job in the last few years.

If you collect Spirit Bells then for sure get one, but if you wanted to fool someone in our era of iPhones, you won’t.

A Beautiful Penetration

I just received this Rib Blok by James Swoger. Previously I owned the Jay Leslie remake, but this is the original version. This really is a very well produced work of art, the paint job is beautiful, and is right up there with Milson Worth.

The effect whilst as old as the hills themselves, is a very clean penetration of the block from the ribbon and its easy to set-up. There are a few angle issues and the clever method takes a bit of practice to do smoothly, but once mastered you have an impossible illusion!

If you’re a collector you’ll like this and if you’re a performer you’ll like this too!

Beautiful Box and Great Routine!

When George Robinson at Viking Magic puts his mind to it he produces beautiful and functional magic. This is a very wonderful little box that creates a miracle.

I remember having great fun with Tenyo’s Flash Dice when I was a kid. This box is so much more than that. Its not only very beautifully finished in Palisander wood, it has some very neat features that make it possible to do some things that seem impossible.

I can’t recommend this enough. The woodwork is exquisite and the routine by Alan Wakeling is huge.

Great Job George – more like this please!

A very clever device that never runs out of batteries!

I used to have the remake of this from Jay Leslie, but this is the original built by James Swogar. The method is much cleverer than you might imagine and really quite amazing to use.

It allows you to be out of the room and still know who chose which card. A clever principle makes it all possible to do without any magnets or electronics, with a very simple reset.

The stand is solid and well made and this item is surely a keeper, with many uses that will become apparent as you work with it.

Highly Recommended for Magicians and Mentalists!
