Ultimate Color Changing Records (+ Silks) by Trix, Toshio Akanuma

(c. 2011) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

A Great Version of the Color Changing Records

I’ve had various color changing records/cds over the years but this is the most magical and visual. It even includes a final color change at the end using the Visible Picture Printing principle which looks very clean indeed.

The props are well made and the quality is about as good as the Ton Onosaka Nu-Way Color Changing Records which was my favorite up until now.

Effect: The effect and routine is a little different from the more classic Silk Serenade by Pavel, which many of these are based upon but I prefer it.

  • Magician shows a red record, and of course, both sides are red.
  • When he places the record into the transparent face frame, the red silk appears from the frame.
  • The red record is now changed into yellow record. The yellow record is displayed both sides, and returned into the frame.
  • Now he makes a magical gesture, and the yellow record, with nothing hidden, VISIBLY changes into a yellow silk in front of your eyes. Now there is only the transparent record inside the frame.
  • He places a blue silk over the transparent record. WOW!! As he extracts the transparent record, it VISIBLY changes from a transparent record into a blue record.
