Stunning Routine and Wonderful Gimmicks

This is an amazing routine which looks absolutely impossible in Johnny Wong’s hands. Even in mere mortal’s hands is is still very possible to do the effect justice. The corner-stone of the effect uses a new coin set called the Trinity Coin Set. You get four of these coins to do the explosion of 12 coins from 1. But the routine is so smooth that you have plenty of time to pull in the other coins.

The gimmicks are flawless and there is a very clever non-sleight move that really makes it look like the coins are appearing out of thin air right in front of the spectators. I have never seen this idea used before and it really makes the production far simpler and magical.

These coins represent huge value and although we always talk about Todd Lassen and Jamie Schoolcraft when it comes to coin gimmicks, I think that Johnny Wong deserves a huge mention too. His coins are beautifully made and are an incredible value.

This is certainly one set of coins that you will use. BTW, the DVD comes with a number of other cool ideas that you can do with the Trinity Coin Set, none of which will disappoint!

The perfect table for your whole act!

Since purchasing these tables I have finally been able to turn up at a show with just the table. Having the draws and cabinet at the back make a huge difference. When coupled with the accessories you dramatically increase the capabilities of this table. Made in the usual high quality manner that we expect from Viking.

Unique and astonishing

I am proud owner of Dean’s Triangle #1. I was privillaged to watch Dean develop this routine over a period of about 3 years. It started as a fun trick and ended up as a signature piece of magic that creates true astonishment.

The Prop is perfect. Rarely do coin magicians have large pretty props to jazz up a show, but this table is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. It is precision made by Doug Malloy, Joe Porper, and Dean Dill. The sneaky design features are undetectable and the spectator is welcome to examine it very closely.

Dean is a master of detail. every little thing has been thought out and perfected over years of constant design modifications. While this is not a knuckle buster, it does require good timing and smoothness. Dean is also a master of the moment and all the dirty work is done at precisely the right moment. There is no heat. Once you get comfortable with the pace, it’s easy to perform. (it will take practice)

Each coin penetration looks totally air and becomes more impossible with every phase. It is a 4 phase routine that builds to a wonderfully visual and impossible penetration that is visually awesome.

This is a fun routine to perform and it’s different from anything else on the market. I highly recommend Dean’s Triangle!

Time to Peform Magic again!

One of the problems of collecting a lot of magic is that you never find time to actually perform it. The real magic only occurs when you perform in front of a live audience. The ironic thing is that many effects that are prized collectibles are often not practical to perform. Not so with the Magical Wolf Man! His magic is for sure collectible, but it is even more performable.

This is the second version of his Jumbo Balloon Wand, based on the original Balloon Tray by Warren Stephens. The first Jumbo Balloon Wand was great, but it was aimed more for kids shows and slightly less streamlined. This new version works great for all audiences. It is a dream to set-up and like all of Chance’s amazing magic works 100% of the time. When it comes to performing magic, any prop that doesn’t work 100% of the time is going to stay on the shelf most of the time – maybe this is why they are called Collectible!

As with all of my recent Wolf’s Magic purchases this will stay in the collection and I look forward to performing it to real people soon!

Thanks Chance for maintaining such consistent high standards in all of your great Collectible and Performable Magic!

Inventor of the wiz Kote??

Hi, this product does indeed look fantastic. I can attest to it being a real crowd pleaser for all ages. I perform one version for smaller Birthday party shows and an expanded version for my Stage Shows. It is GREAT in either venue.

I have been performing this routine since I first saw it performed back in 1976 at a MECCA MAGIC CLUB show in East Orange, N.J. It was created by a man named Jim Gerrish (who created and sold many magic effects under the name MERLYN). I had the pleasure of working with him on several shows. I do not believe he is in the business actively anymore but back then he had many original and entertaining magical creations that he sold to dealers.

I believe you can find his full routine for this one published in one of the Linking Rings or Genii’s in the late 70’s. It is worth the effort to find.

Just wanted to give Mr. Gerrish his "props" and let people know about the history of this great routine.

Diabolical and Beautiful

This is a beautifully crafted chest that is another exemplary effort by George Robinson of outstanding magic that is a wonderful addition to any collection. Besides being beautiful to look at and handle, it is a diabolical effect. George continues to amaze me with his craftsmanship and attention to detail in everything he makes. A great effect that really knocks them off their feet!

I highly recommend this to the collector and the performer.

Finally a Freddie that is really Entertaining!

There have been many, many versions of the Milbourne Christopher classic: Forgetful Freddie. Unfortunately, although the props have changed the basic routine has not. Sadly, the typical routine is nowhere near as good as the number of versions suggests. For me the reason for the losing of the head has always been a bit weak and the reproduction never quite lived up to the applause queue I had hoped.

Well that is until Chance Wolf came along with the help of Arthur Atsma and gave us the beautiful and very entertaining Happy Hyena! Now you have an amazing prop with an equally entertaining routine to do the basic premise justice. The whole routine is now played as a game show with three contestants trying to make the audience laugh and the Happy Hyena is the judge. At one point he laughs so loud his head falls off! There is a laughing sound box, a neat Jiggling Head effect and lots of fun along the way. It just makes so much more sense and is so much more entertaining than any other version I have seen.

We all know that Chance makes the most colorful, dependable, and unique Children’s magic available today and this amazing Hyena proves the point. If you missed this the first time around, because you thought it was just another Freddie, think again, this is one of the most entertaining Children’s routines I have seen for a while!

Highly Recommend for Children’s Entertainers and Collector’s of fine Magic everywhere!

In some ways even better than Dr. Q!

This is a wonderful version of the Spirit Hand effect. I have always loved the Dr. Q Spirit Hand and it certainly looks and feels great. However, this one from Joe Stevens is not only a lot cheaper there is one aspect of it that is actually better. It uses a slightly different mechanism to move the hand and this allows for a much greater range of motion than the traditional Dr. Q.

It looks as clean as can be and even with a close-up of the table you’ll never spot anything, and yet when you are ready you can move that hand really high up without appearing to do anything. The finish is not quite as nice as the Owen one, and due to the smaller board you don’t have quite as much cover to do the move, but at $100’s less than it is really a wonderful item. The smaller board certainly makes it easier to pack too.

Highly Recommended for all those would be Spiritualists out there and even some hard core Owen Collectors!

Round 2 and still going

I have already reviewed Todd’s Ultimate Wild Coins with the first batch he released back in April, 2008. The response was so good that he released this additional batch back in February (2009), but used the new copper pattern coins he has been working lately. He had on his blog, last year in June, the sculpts for the new design and they looked impressive at that time.

The new copper coins are so very nice with wide rims, clean designs, that I couldn’t turn down a second set made with these. I figured you can never have too much Lassen to play with and I like this set better than the first. Again, the top coins and the second image are the gaffs and the companion coins are remilled to fit the shells for maximum versatility.
