Another Electronic Marvel from LabcoMagic

By now it is obvious who is making the best electronic magic today: Soren Harbo and his team at LabcoMagic. This final piece for my collection is the epitome of why their magic is so great – no sign anywhere of electronics and beautiful old world craftsmanship combined together to create an amazing piece of mental magic.

100% reliability is necessary for any sort of electronic effect – you just can’t have it work 90% of the time. This is where LabcoMagic really make their mark. The box arrives in the mail and once you have figured out how to turn it on – which is always a challenge since they do such a great job of hiding everything – it just works from then on.

I’m not sure which is my favorite item of theirs but they are all special in their own way and I am very proud to have them sitting nicely in my Collection.

This is what Joe Porper was born to build!

Joe Porper is well known in the world of Pool Cues for his amazing cues and cases, and he seems to be bringing that knowledge and expertise to these beautiful folding wands.

They are perfect and beautiful and unique. Some of Joe’s magic line is over priced, but these wands are not one of them. They are certainly worth the money and something you will treasure for the rest of your life.

Deluxe Chink-A-Chink

WOW, the workmanship on this piece is just superb; both trick and presentation case.

I have a number of pieces from Joe Porper, RNT II, Collectors Workshop, and a few from Owen Magic Supreme – this chink a chink set is made at least as well as anything I have seen from these companies. (BTW – I love the quality of their work too).

SUPERB RATTLE BOX……….for CENTURIES TO COME !

Craig has produced for the magic world the FINEST RATTLE BOX which I have seen in my nearly 60 years of doing magic. This has been refined, polished, and PERFECTED to the ultimate superb magical weapon to vanish a coin ALMOST IN THE SPECTATOR’S VERY HANDS AND BE SUPER "CLEAN" AT ALL TIMES.

I cannot recommend this product too highly. Craig has thought through all of the "moves" and even SUGGESTED ROUTINES very thoroughly. In fact, it is my personal belief that his cleverness is only OUT DONE BY HIS CRAFTSMANSHIP.

Highly recommend product for any WORKING MAGICIAN OR COLLECTOR.

Atlantis Magic did it !!

When I received this little marvel, I already knew, that, except for displaying in my collection, I will never use again any others of my rattle boxes !

The size is perfect, the woods chosen by Craig are splendid, the craftsmanship is great, the gimmick works like in a dream.
The different handling proposed in the instructions are really interesting.

It is useless to be more wordy about this little gem; let me give you one advice : if you need a rattle box, this is the one ! Get one as soon as you can.

Bravo Craig, I can’t wait to catch your next item, and add it to my collection !

Deceptive! Deceptive! Deceptive!

Finally! A mirror box that is not tacky looking! Though the item is one of our exclusives, my opinion is completely unbiased. Arlen Studios did a fantastic job in the manufacture of this prop. The fact that the gimmick is actually removed in front of the spectators is brilliant! The load chamber can hold other items should you not care to perform the routine that is provided. It’s large enough to hold a dove. The gold leafing on the boxes sides brings a classy look to the prop.

What an Amazing, Mystifying, Beauty!

We all know the Magic Wagon produce some of the best quality magic available today. So when I received this I was not surprised to find some great looking boxes. But when I found out the secret a real sense of awe came over me. What a truly wonderful set of boxes this is.

They are made to last a lifetime, the gimmicked box is 100% undetectable and I spent ten minutes trying to figure it out before I broke down and read the instructions. In essence you show both boxes and have a spectator place an object or message in the smaller box. This is then locked and closed by the spectator (the magician’s back is turned) – there is absolutely no way in to the box without the key. The magician then places the locked box into the bigger box right in front of the spectators to ensure that nothing can be seen and it is handed back to the spectator.

Yet every time you can divulge what is in the box. Nothing is added or taken away, no electronics, instant reset, and minutely examinable.

This is a beauty!

Delightful New Warner Magic!

This is one clever and ingenious piece from Alan. The method is so diabolical and the craftsmanship is impeccable, as one expects from this master craftsman. Beautiful effect and all so nicely stored in an elegant case. This is one where examining all the (secret) components of the appartus makes you appreciate what value you are getting than from simply seeing the images from this review.

Owning many of Alan’s magic, I thought he couldn’t surprise me (well, I have witnessed great magic from this man) but I felt like a child on Christmas Day when I took this out from the parcel. This will definitely be on the list of my favorite Warner pieces, if that is possible to have favorites.

Thanks again, Alan, for another beauty and a most welcome addition to my collection.

WOW!

Chance has clearly established himself as a master craftsman of the highest caliber with both this apparatus and the recent Classic Coin Ladder. Only greatness can be expected to come from this builder and I definitely look forward to all his next releases. Again, this is one item that is best appreciated with your eyes and not through any images. The beauty of the Cocobolo wood, the beautiful gold vinyl accents, the overall design and expert craftsmanship would be greatly missed.

I was surprised, but ecstatic, over the size of the apparatus on unwrapping this beauty. Truly a mini-magic item as I see it, with the square based platform having 4 inch sides and a height of 6 inches (without the chopsticks). Now, that is just perfect for my taste, though the size may be standard for this trick (never owned one, so can’t compare). The only potential drawback is that this is really a stage effect as mentioned in the nicely written instructions. There is an angle issue with one of the gimmicked props, if attempted as a close-up effect. However, even with the distance, it’s strong magic and the apparatus is one to be proud to own and present. BTW, Chance provides an interesting storyline in one of the nicest instructions sheets I have seem. He sure didn’t spare anything to provide the best here.
