Kent Bergmann is back with his amazing new line of magic: 3D Magic Works and the very positive reviews are flowing in.

Kent has produced a very practical mini chop cup item here complete with 3 Monkey fist balls and matching cover and base. And in a stroke of genius Kent has gimmicked the cover so you actually can use it in the routine too. What a great idea!

Lubor Fiedler’s Gozinta Boxes never looked so good! Not only is this small enough to carry around in your pocket the addition of the extra stand that fits both the purple box and the the black box precisely really adds to the illusion that both boxes are the same size. So how is it possible that they both fit inside of each other?

Too often and none-the-less understood in a chaotic life, we utilize services without recognizing the incredible cost of time, energy and passion that is involved in creating them. This immediately comes to mind with Martin’s Magic (which is just one of Andy’s sites). As you view this incredible site, think about the time it takes in creating and maintaining what is unquestionably the largest database in the art. Martin’s magic is the Wikipedia of Magic.

Andy,

As a Hobbyist/Collector (as I call myself) I cannot tell you how many times I refer to your website as the first place I go to look for your review (and others) on an effect to decide if its the kind of Magic I want. It saves so much research time I am sure for so many people such as myself and others. This website is a true gift to magic and I know must be an act of love of magic and the magic community as you must buy most of the magic you review and then that which you do not keep you sell at a loss. I do not think people realize this and that this is not really a money making venture for you but more importantly a gift to the rest of the magic community. From all of us magicians, hobbyist, collectors etc, thank You for this endeavor and I hope you are able to keep it going for a long long time to come.

This is beautifully crafted item is basically the same as the old Collectors’ Workshop item The Clock of San Marcos but using micro Swiss electronics instead of a wind-up motor. It works perfectly and is very quiet with a neat and compact mechanism and a long lasting battery. The benefit of the electronic motor of course is that there is zero reset required between performances which makes it perfect for strolling and restaurant magic. Very reliable and I’ve never seen another like this before.

The Anything Box is a beautiful box that was created by Brian Cook to allow you to put anything in the box that could fit inside the box. So he had to come up with a new access method that is very different from any other similar Lippincott style box. The box looks amazing and the access is the fastest method I have seen.

This wonderful item from Dave Powell is based on the old Rings ‘n’ Things Plop-Up from 1976 which is one of my favorite offbeat card effects. Dave’s version looks very impressive and works smoothly every time. What is particularly neat about the method is there is nothing added or taken away and no hidden flaps to move, it literally seems to work like magic. Great Job Dave!

If you are a fan of the Coin of the Realm or Cabala style effects you will love what Brian Cook has created here. He has taken the effect to the next level by creating this beautiful box out of high quality clear acrylic so the audience can see everything that is happening as the coin penetrates the solid piece of glass right in front of their eyes! This is a rare beauty for sure.
