Still one of my all time Favorites!

I have been performing this effect for 30 years, and I still think it is one of my favorite effects. Done slowly and deliberately it is just amazing to the audience as the cards slowly but surely change from one card to the other.

To do it cleanly it certainly takes practice, but the sleights involved are very basic. A novel twist and I think a worthy enhancement to the basic Wild Card is ESPecially Wild.

These boxes are a reputation maker.

The boxes are very well made from select hard woods. They are made so they can be handled by the magician alone. No assistant needed. I cannot say enough about this Viking product. They are becoming harder to find so if you have ever thought of adding a nested box routine to your show this is the one to own. The handling is remarkabley easy and this one will keep them at the ultimate WOW factor. Andy’s pictures really don’t do the justice to the beauty of these fine pieces or craftsmanship.

A Definite Addition to any Collection

I own both the Viking version and this Clarence Miller original. I like them both, but the “two-tone” contrast between the walnut and the basswood creates one beautiful prop. This one is well built and works smoothly like the Viking model. I haven’t been too impressed with some of Clarence Miller’s props. I have at least three that I removed from my collection, but his Impossible Penetration is probably his best in workmanship. He always personally signs and serial numbers his work…a nice touch. I wouldn’t part with it. Get it, even if you already own the Viking one.

Nice site…great guy with a great collection…why is it that most of this stuff resides in my house, too, and I end up buying things from him all the time?
Good luck with your housebuilding!

Dear Andy,

I stumbled onto your website whilst searching for literature about the history of magic in Lewes.
A pretty flash job!

Deceptive! Deceptive! Deceptive!

Finally! A mirror box that is not tacky looking! Though the item is one of our exclusives, my opinion is completely unbiased. Arlen Studios did a fantastic job in the manufacture of this prop. The fact that the gimmick is actually removed in front of the spectators is brilliant! The load chamber can hold other items should you not care to perform the routine that is provided. It’s large enough to hold a dove. The gold leafing on the boxes sides brings a classy look to the prop.

Good accessory for vanishing a ring

Decent prop…nothing extraordinary but a different tool to “vanish” a ring for your Khartoum Ring Fantasy or Creation. With the right presentation it could probably stand on its own. The basic effect is that you tell the spectator that his/her ring needs cleaning so out comes the ring cruncher. The ring is dropped into the the apparatus and a crank turned making a rather distressing sound. You level the cruncher to pour out the ring but only “gold dust” comes out…Oops!

Eerie effect to watch

I have owned this little gem from CW for years and it’s probably the one effect from CW that I have performed the most. It’s eeire and entertaining to watch. The sudden movement of the pen as it rotates looks so magical. It’s self-contained and all mechanical. Not an electronic effect. Beautiful brass mechanism is admirable.
