Wow! Beautiful and Amazing!

I have always been a fan of Karson’s Zombie, but have never ventured past there until now. When I watched the video of this on Joe’s site I thought – wow that looks amazing. When this arrived the other day I was not sure what to expect. But when I opened the box I was very pleased indeed!

Not only is the gimmick very cleverly concealed the whole box is made beautifully and the routine, that is very clearly explained by the amazing Losander can be performed surrounded and there is nothing added or taken away.

If you want to perform a levitation in a close-up or stroll around situation you are now set – what a great idea! For those of you who don’t like the card production at the end (I think it is a perfect ending, but it takes all sorts), you can just use the box to store a few items for your show, giving you the perfect reason for having the box in the first place.

Everything about this box is thought out and you get a professional quality prop and routine. Now levitation of any description does require some practice – but it is not hard practice, more having a belief that the object is actually floating and being wary of how it appears to the audience. But if you are prepared to put some effort in you’ll have a great routine that is different and will reward you for years to come!

Highly Recommend for Collector’s and Performers everywhere!

Larry Becker’s Masterpiece!

This is a very entertaining and also very amazing piece of mentalism from Larry Becker. Its a 3 way prediction with each prediction clean and convincing. What I like most about this is that it is one of the few mentalism routines I have that can be played for laughs but in the end really knocks them out. A great routine with well made props from Viking. Larry Becker also has a lite version out: Casino Light which uses different methods and has a slightly different routine.

A Great Routine and Wallet

This is one of Joe’s favorites and I know why. The wallet is made of a soft high quality leather and is practical enough to use as your real wallet. The effect is beautifully clean and takes a second to set-up. Hand an ungimmicked deck to the spectator and have them shuffle the deck. They then count down cards one at a time and stop anytime – absolutely no force. The spectator can then open the wallet and pull out the prediction and it matches the card they stopped at.

It is clean with no palming or tricky moves.

Highly Recommended for walk around and trade shows!

The Best Add A Number Wallet

I’m a big fan of the Horwitz Wallet and I know if you like it too, you’ll love this wallet. It uses the same principle as the Horwitz but is gimmicked differently so that it can be used as a beautifully clean add a number notepad.

Easy to set and flawless in execution, throw out all your other versions, this is the best!

Highly Recommended for Performers everywhere!

Practical and Amazing Ring Flight

I’ve had many ring flights over the years and really like this one from Derek Roberts. It doesn’t use a case like so many others and instead uses what looks like a simple car door key fob. The ring release is also large and easy to operate.

The DVD has some great performance ideas and really makes you want to get out and perform this effect. The set-up is a snap and you could easily be doing this for your next walk around or close-up show.

Highly Recommended if you actually want to perform this effect!

Still One of the Most Deceptive Methods!

When it comes to chopping things off Magician’s have no end of methods and contraptions to do this. The problem often is that the method looks obvious. For the small stage and parlor show I don’t think there is a more convincing and reasonably priced version than the classic Disecto. It just looks impossible.

This is an old Supreme one, but MAK and Abbott’s still make some good ones too. If you’re looking for a quality mini-illusion that is well priced and deceptive, you’ll be hard pressed to find anything better than Disecto!

Still one of my all time favorites!

The John Kennedy Mystery Box has got to be one of the most convincing and impressive signed card effects ever. Quite simply the effect is exactly this: a small box is placed on the table in front of the spectator then they choose and sign any card, and it is shuffled back into the pack. The performer attempts to find their card behind his back and he announces he has found it and that now it is in the box that has been in front of the spectator all this time. They open the box and see a single card folded in the box. This card is tipped onto the spectator’s hands – and the performers hands are clean and the box is empty. It is their card with their signature.

This never fails to amaze them!

One of the Best Available Today and an Amazing Crowd Pleaser

The card sword is a beautiful effect and very impressive to lay people. This sword built by the master magical engineer Julio Lipan looks solid and heavy and feels like a real sword, not some cheap magicians prop. The mechanism is flawless and it will handle up to three cards easily. I prefer just one card and a powerful remote card fountain like the Marcelo Contento one or the Dave Powell one. With these two items you have a true miracle on your hands.

The card sword was responsible for my first spontaneous Standing Ovation and it will always have a special place in my heart.

Beautiful, Convincing, and Great Value!

This is a very clever little device that allows you to perform the classic "Stop Trick" everytime without any funny moves or gimmicked cards.

The quality on this piece is wonderful and only $55 … what is that all about? I don’t know where else you can get such fine workmanship for such a low price – it even comes with a deck of cards too!

In effect, a card is chosen (free choice) and the cards are placed in the houlette. A ribbon covers the houlette to aid in retrieving the cards without touching the cards at the appropriate moment. You show the front and back card to ensure it is not their one, then you begin to remove a card one at a time – each one you remove you place in the clip in front of the houlette. When the spectator cries out stop, you simply pull the ribbon and the very next card pops into view … of course it is their card. The houlette works so well that the audience member themselves could be pulling the cards out each time. And they can even pull out the final one too.

I overlooked this effect when I first owned it, but realise now how very nice it is.

Highly recommended.

The Best Monkey Bar!

I was always a lover of Acrobatic Silks, which itself was a modification of Ken Allen’s Monkey Bar. However, after seeing Kovari perform the original version of this twenty years or so ago, I have always preferred it.

This version by Viking is much smaller than Kovari’s original and it makes it all the more amazing when the surpirise kicker ending happens with the two extra "stunt" fish appearing.

Great effect for young and old alike.
