I love this shiny Dollar Sized Coin Tube from Omar Ferret! It is like the old German Guildplex (see photo 4) effect but made with heavy duty shiny aluminum tubes, that feel solid and anything that works with Silver Morgans is always great in my book!
Another Tommy Wonder marvel released by Card-Shark, and a welcome one too. Now you only need one deck! I have not performed this for years (as you can see from the video), but I need to get it back in my repertoire! Thanks Card-Shark for reminding us how great Tommy Wonder was!
An even more die-abolical version of Steve Cooks original idea Die-Abolical. Beautifully made by Magic Wagon again in conjunction with Tony Curtis and Peter Nardi. A self-contained piece of mentalism which is easy to do and every outcome is covered perfectly!
Based on a brilliant design by Richard Himber, Limited Edition Magic under the direction of Joe Long have come out with another winner. Joe even got compliments from the Magic Wagon team for this version. Great job Joe with this very clean and perplexing penetration.
A wonderful remake of the old Magiro effect original imported by Howie Scharzman brought to you by Joe Long and his Limited Edition Magic line. Even though the block is securely locked down – you can even add the safety pins to the bolts – you can make any small object mysteriously appear inside the block. A great effect and built perfectly.
It seems to me that every builder of quality painted stage props over the last 40 years has tried to equal the finish achieved by the amazing Milson-Worth. I don’t know any builder who has done that yet, but I would say that Michael Baker has come as close as I have seen with this new die box effect. What a stunning beauty it is. Not only does it look beautiful but the vanish of the block is the best I have seen. Where the heck does it go?
I’m not sure why I’m so fascinated by the Color Changing Records effect, but I’m always keen to see new variations. I just picked up this version from Bob Kline, and boy it is amazing! So much better and effective than any other set I have seen. It even uses real records and very clever custom gimmicks to allow the effect to be performed as fairly and cleanly as possible. You end with three colored records which look clean from all angles and no clue where the real records went to. Bob Kline’s most famous creation might well be Copenetro, but he really created some amazing and high quality illusions and a few of them can be seen here. This item is no exception it really looks amazing and is perfectly made.
The talented Frenchman is back with a box of two beautiful and entertaining paddle tricks taking inspirations from Eddy Taytelbaum and Willie Wessel. Please check-out the videos Francois has posted to see both routines. The routine for the second effect was created especially for Francois by the great German Craftsman Willi Wessel.
This was beautifully constructed by Edwin McDonald who apprenticed under Walter Sheppard. Edwin was the best kept secret in magic as he has built some of the most beautiful pieces of equipment in the past 20 years. If you live in Southwest Ohio, you know who Edwin is. He is an artist and a fine builder. Nice Combination. This is the only one built. It is a beautifully done vampire block with this twist: once you pierce the block with the stake, you can pick up the whole thing supported by the chain only. It disproves the theory that the stake never locks in the block for in this version it does! You can release the block for the penetration effect at your command. It is always under your control. A great piece and there is only one!
