I see that Magic Wagon have started to create some items in a lizard skin synthetic leather as they did for Dia-Abolical Version 2 and they look great! I’m always amazed how they create items in teak, resin, leather, jewelry box finish, metal, plastic and more – they never stop trying different materials to capture that perfect look. This is a clever utility box where you can easily detect the value or color of any card place inside. It comes with 5 color cards and use your own deck (any deck can be used).

Three cards are chosen by different spectators and are then lost in the deck. The Card Ladder is revealed. A silk is removed and placed into the glass below. The cards are placed into the Houlette, on top of the Card Ladder, and a magical gesture is made. The cards begin to VISIBLY drop from the Houlette, cascading down the ladder, landing in the glass below and ending with the THREE CHOSEN CARDS stopped at three different rungs of the ladder! Very visual magic perfect for your office or Parlor Magic!

My friend George Guerra raved about this when it first came out in 2014 and I can see why. It is hard to really appreciate how magical it looks when the cards stop streaming down the ladder and the three chosen cards are displayed neatly spaced down the ladder. It looks amazing!

A wonderful remake of the old Magiro effect original imported by Howie Scharzman brought to you by Joe Long and his Limited Edition Magic line. Even though the block is securely locked down – you can even add the safety pins to the bolts – you can make any small object mysteriously appear inside the block. A great effect and built perfectly.

Another Tommy Wonder marvel released by Card-Shark, and a welcome one too. Now you only need one deck! I have not performed this for years (as you can see from the video), but I need to get it back in my repertoire! Thanks Card-Shark for reminding us how great Tommy Wonder was!

Review by Andy Martin for Deluxe Square Circle By Edwin McDonald

Review by Andy Martin for Deluxe Square Circle By Edwin McDonald
5 out of 5

Another beautiful piece by Southern Ohio’s best kept secret: Edwin McDonald. This is not only the most beautiful square-circle I have ever seen, it is very deceptive even from a few feet thanks to the intricate design and black felt like material on the inside of the square and load chamber. Edwin’s pieces are very rare and this item he built for his own show.

This was beautifully constructed by Edwin McDonald who apprenticed under Walter Sheppard. Edwin was the best kept secret in magic as he has built some of the most beautiful pieces of equipment in the past 20 years. If you live in Southwest Ohio, you know who Edwin is. He is an artist and a fine builder. Nice Combination. This is the only one built. It is a beautifully done vampire block with this twist: once you pierce the block with the stake, you can pick up the whole thing supported by the chain only. It disproves the theory that the stake never locks in the block for in this version it does! You can release the block for the penetration effect at your command. It is always under your control. A great piece and there is only one!
