Review by Andy Martin for Dead Ringer by Tim Wisseman
5 out of 5
A very realistic and spooky looking spirit bell from Tim Wisseman. If you want an authentic looking spirit bell that is cheaper and easier to set-up than the amazing Spirit Bell released by Nick Wenger, then this would be it! Very reliable mechanism with a good range to really freak them out!
Review by Andy Martin for Puzzling Chocolate by 808 Magic, Winston Freer
5 out of 5
A wonderful close-up take on Winston Freer’s Magic Tile Puzzle. I particularly like the presentation I used that is based almost entirely on Meir Yedid’s wonderful presentation. This plays very well for all ages and audiences: kids love it, women love it, and men seem fine with it too!
Review by Andy Martin for Wonder Block Thru Wand by Limited Edition Magic
5 out of 5
For over ten years Joe Long has worked with the talented craftsman Paul Lembo to bring us an incredible array of amazing magic that would otherwise be left forgotten on the shelves of just a handful of hard-core collectors worldwide.
When this item arrived on my desk I was very intrigued and although it often takes me months to get items on my site, this one I fast tracked today because I think it is one of the most amazing penetration effects I have ever seen. If you watch the video there is really no explanation to how this is possible.
And even better when you see how it is done you’ll be more than happy. This is one of those effects whose method is as good as the effect itself. There were only 15 of these made so if you can track one down you should because it is an amazing effect.
Highly Recommended for Collectors and Performers everywhere. Great job Joe and Paul!
Review by Andy Martin for Glassy Briefcase by Tora Magic Company
5 out of 5
I really like this production item from Tora, the double productions are very surprising. Each load chamber has plenty of room. The only issue I have is that the productions that come with it as standard are nowhere near enough to reproduce the picture on the case. So to get the most out of this you’ll probably need to add your own extra loads. Otherwise, great trick!
Review by Andy Martin for Knight Vision Box by Magic Wagon
5 out of 5
I see that Magic Wagon have started to create some items in a lizard skin synthetic leather as they did for Dia-Abolical Version 2 and they look great! I’m always amazed how they create items in teak, resin, leather, jewelry box finish, metal, plastic and more – they never stop trying different materials to capture that perfect look. This is a clever utility box where you can easily detect the value or color of any card place inside. It comes with 5 color cards and use your own deck (any deck can be used).
Review by Andy Martin for Impossible Coin Odyssey by Magic Wagon
5 out of 5
To close out 2016 Magic Wagon pulled out all the stops to create this wonderful mechanical beauty! Impossible Coin Odyssey was inspired by Jack Hughes’ Visible Coins In Glass, Bob Kline’s Copenetro and Collectors’ Workshop Silver Odyssey and inspirational they were to produce such a clean and reliable visible coin penetration and appearance. A wonderful way to end another amazing year of magic from one of the worlds most prolific and beautiful collectible magic apparatus creators.
Review by Andy Martin for Mini Card Ladder (#16 of 19) by Chance Wolf
5 out of 5
Three cards are chosen by different spectators and are then lost in the deck. The Card Ladder is revealed. A silk is removed and placed into the glass below. The cards are placed into the Houlette, on top of the Card Ladder, and a magical gesture is made. The cards begin to VISIBLY drop from the Houlette, cascading down the ladder, landing in the glass below and ending with the THREE CHOSEN CARDS stopped at three different rungs of the ladder! Very visual magic perfect for your office or Parlor Magic!
My friend George Guerra raved about this when it first came out in 2014 and I can see why. It is hard to really appreciate how magical it looks when the cards stop streaming down the ladder and the three chosen cards are displayed neatly spaced down the ladder. It looks amazing!
Review by Andy Martin for Silver Dollar Coin Tube by Omar Ferret
5 out of 5
I love this shiny Dollar Sized Coin Tube from Omar Ferret! It is like the old German Guldiplex (see photo 4) effect but made with heavy duty shiny aluminum tubes, that feel solid and anything that works with Silver Morgans is always great in my book!
Review by Andy Martin for Tommy Wonder's Elizabeth IV.1 by Card-Shark
5 out of 5
Another Tommy Wonder marvel released by Card-Shark, and a welcome one too. Now you only need one deck! I have not performed this for years (as you can see from the video), but I need to get it back in my repertoire! Thanks Card-Shark for reminding us how great Tommy Wonder was!
Review by Andy Martin for Tommy Wonder's Tamed Cards by Card-Shark

One of Tommy’s best effects now created in a wonderful package from those good guys at Card-Shark. Comes complete with:
Four sets of wild cards
Four way force deck

Booklet with the “Tamed Card” explanation (courtesy of Hermetic Press)
Now there are no excuses to not perform this wonderful effect from the master.
