I’m not sure why I’m so fascinated by the Color Changing Records effect, but I’m always keen to see new variations. I just picked up this version from Bob Kline, and boy it is amazing! So much better and effective than any other set I have seen. It even uses real records and very clever custom gimmicks to allow the effect to be performed as fairly and cleanly as possible. You end with three colored records which look clean from all angles and no clue where the real records went to. Bob Kline’s most famous creation might well be Copenetro, but he really created some amazing and high quality illusions and a few of them can be seen here. This item is no exception it really looks amazing and is perfectly made.

It seems to me that every builder of quality painted stage props over the last 40 years has tried to equal the finish achieved by the amazing Milson-Worth. I don’t know any builder who has done that yet, but I would say that Michael Baker has come as close as I have seen with this new die box effect. What a stunning beauty it is. Not only does it look beautiful but the vanish of the block is the best I have seen. Where the heck does it go?

Well I’ve had two other versions of custom Khyber Kobras, but this is the first time I’ve owned an original Khyber Kobra. It really is a beautiful piece of work, and although there have been many pretenders to the snake basket throne over the years, I’m not sure anything still gets close to this beautiful piece of work. The Cobra looks great and the routine is perfect.
