Thayer Production Cabinet by Limited Edition Magic

A stunning version of an extremely rare c. 1920 Thayer piece which they simply called The Production Cabinet. The design is sheer genius. It’s a production cabinet that would puzzle many magicians.

Effect: Performer displays a beautifully finished cabinet with brass hardware. The cabinet is shown completely empty. And I mean completely. It’s first displayed on all four sides. Then the front door is opened wide allowing a full view of the empty interior. And if that isn’t enough, the back door is then opened as well allowing a clear look through the obviously empty cabinet. The doors are closed again, the cabinet once again revolved to show all sides, and when the lid is opened a huge production is made.

It’s a brilliant design. The cabinet simply looks empty even from up close. This improved model includes front and back doors that now securely close with magnets, a well concealed gaff that locks with bullet-catch hardware, and is beautifully decorated in an Okito-Doc Nixon style with classic stencil design, decorative trim, and tassels on each side. Size of the cabinet is app. 14″ x 9″ x 5″. Perfect for performance and display. Only 12 pieces in the edition.
