ESP Top by First Magic

(c. 2004) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

Small spinning tops to force numbers were first released by Werry c. 1960 and called Schwerpunkt-Kreisel.   Eckhard Boettcher released his version c. 1984 as Forcier Kreisel, and they were made by Swiss magician Wilhelm von Sury  (1922-2008). And I’m sure there have been others.

It is cheap but it works very well! And it is better made than you would imagine and it can be used to force any one of the 6 numbers on its face every time.  Sam Dalal released a color version here.

Effect: It works like the Spirt Clock Dial and really has some clean uses for forcing the numbers 1-6. The audience doesn’t care that it is not made of brass!!!  It works every time too – though is better on hard surfaces.
