Tip Color (Color Clairvoyance) by Hollywood Magic

This little box was made in Germany and it is a bit like a poor man’s Jewels of Shah Jahan – you can perform the same effect for a fraction of the cost.  I am not sure if Bert Wheeler’s Hollywood Magic were the first company to import this item, but they were the earliest ad I could find.  It was also sold by Paul Diamond, Tannen’s and others under the name Color Clairvoyance.

Although the box is made from plastic it is good quality and works very well.  The mechanism is easy to operate and difficult to detect.

Effect: A cabinet containing four colored discs. The discs may be arranged in any manner and the cabinet closed. The performer instantly knows the arrangement without opening the cabinet. Indetectable.

A clever “SECOND SIGHT” trick that can be done any time. Four plastic chips colored red, blue, green and yellow are placed in an attractive plastic box and closed. All this is done while performer’s back is turned.

When the performer turns around he immediately names the position the colors are in.
