This is the first time I’ve seen this old Collectors’ Workshop item and what a clever idea it is. A deck of cards is tossed to a spectator, who is instructed to examine and shuffle them. Spectator cuts the deck and is instructed to place the card cut-to on the table. Performer hands spectator a mini-cassette machine. Spectator pushes the “Play” button and the performer’s voice is heard to announce a prediction of a selected card. The face-down card is turned over and matches the prediction perfectly. The card can be different each time should you desire and there is only one recording on the tape. The tape player uses standard batteries, works perfectly and fits neatly in the shirt or jacket pocket.
