ESP CHIP-SATIONAL is not a new idea BUT the execution is new. The first version sold by The Trickery c. 1999 was made by Jack Ruda and called ESP Experience (see final photo). Of course this item is effectively the same as Alan Warner’s Enigmatic c. 1986 predating Jack Ruda’s version.
What you now have is an updated version, improved with the addition of marked chips as designed by George Robinson Jr. The handling and presentation has changed due to this subtle modification. Those that have the original will immediately see the benefit of the new design and those just purchasing this unit for the first time will be delighted with the method and versatility of the effect.
Effect: ESP Chip-Sational! ESP Chips model and box. The performer places a chip inside the two compartment box, face-down, followed by the spectator placing his impression of what he ‘feels’ matches the performer’s chip in the remaining empty hole. The performer always goes first. When all 10 chips have been placed in their respective holes they are tipped out on the base and one by one are shown to match perfectly! The spectator actually predicts the performers choices and is 100% correct!
Things to remember:
Mahogany base with walnut lid and mahogany inlay, hand-crafted box; custom chips and complete instructions.
Box measures: 4 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ x 1 9/16″; chips measure 1 5/8″ diameter.

What A Rare Treat!
There is almost nothing quite like waking up Christmas morning to open a brand new trick crafted by my good friend George Robinson. This is a beautiful item put out in conjunction with The Trickery and I for one hope these guys continue to put out more jewels like this.
The effect is old and the last time I saw a similar one was in Alan Warner’s Enigmatic. However, I believe the principle is older than that. Howie, at The Trickery, had a cheaper version for years. This version has been improved not only in materials but also method with a neat extra addition that now makes the effect even more amazing.
In effect you show the audience two sets of five ESP chips and the magician places a chip inside the box face-down , followed by the spectator. The Magician always goes first. When all five chips have been replaced they are tipped out on the base and one by one are shown to match perfectly. The order can be different every time and although the trick is not self-working it is easy to do.
If this is how 2012 is going to continue we have some amazing treats in store.
Highly recommended for collector’s and close-up performers everywhere!

Yes five stars if you buy the viking one and avoid the cheap versions. So if your paying £50 to £70 it’s not viking version probably from China.
The viking box and chips are top quality and well made if you can get your hands on one that is.
