Wooden Collection by Sam Dalal

Here is a wonderful collection of low priced “Collector’s” items from the famous Indian producer of magic products Sam Dalal 🙂  Good old Sam the Sham, you can’t keep a good man down.

No one is going to believe these items rival the wood craftsmanship of (in no particular order) Colin Rose, Alan Warner, Kent Bergmann, Owen Magic Supreme, Michael Baker, Paul Lembo, Mel Babcock, Dave Powell, Magic Wagon, Thomas Pohle, Francois Danis, Louis Gaynor, Viking Mfg., to name just a few of the many thousands on this website.

However, if you have a low budget or are used to plastic versions of these items you’ll be more than happy with these wooden miracles from Sam.  There are four items featured here:

• Silk and Ball Vase – Large Wood (Collector’s Edition) ($65) – this is the best of the bunch and comes with a really great routine.
• Imp Bottle – Jumbo Wood (Collector’s Edition) ($50) – a big and bold Imp bottle.
• Okito Box – Deluxe Wood ($20) – when you’re looking for something less gimmicky than the brass boxes 🙂
• Boston Box – Deluxe Wood ($20)

Effect: Silk And Ball Vase – Large Wood (Collector’s Edition) The apparatus supplied is handsomely handcrafted in solid wood, to give you an extremely attractive “collector’s quality” prop, for use on any stage. It permits you to perform a very magical routine, with a number of vanishes, transformations, and productions, with a vase, ball, and silk. A handsome wood vase is opened, and a handkerchief removed from inside. The handkerchief magically transforms into a ball.
The ball is placed in your pocket, and re-appears inside the vase. The vase is tapped, and the ball magically penetrates right through the vase.  The ball is again placed in your pocket, and again re-appears in the vase. Finally the ball vanishes, and the original silk is found again in the vase.

Imp Bottle – Jumbo Wood (Collector’s Edition) A large bottle is rested on its side and stays flat for as long as the magician wishes. When spectators try, it springs back upright. Repeat as often as you wish. This is a large model (approximately 4 inches), turned in mahogany, and a quality prop for those that prefer a deluxe hand crafted model of a magical classic.

Okito Box – Deluxe Wood The Okito boxes in circulation are made of Brass or other metal, (although the original was a regular board pill box). This box is turned in mahogany, and resembles an antique jewelry box for holding a ring. It is a more “natural” prop than the Brass Okito Box, and costs about half as much. Use your own coins – Half Dollar size.

Boston Box – Deluxe Wood This box is turned in mahogany, and resembles an antique jewelry box for holding a ring. It is a more “natural” prop than the Brass Boston Box, and costs only half as much. A collector quality close-up prop, it is supplied with several routines  and you will find dozens of other routines in books of Coin Magic. Use your own coins – Half Dollar size.
