Chinese Coin Production by Thomas Pohle

(c. 1992) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

This is a very deceptive piece of apparatus invented by Willi Wessel and beautifully crafted by Thomas Pohle in Germany c. 1992 and long unavailable. For a period of time Willi and Thomas worked together in the same workshop in Berlin and they shared lots of ideas.

Effect: What appears to be a standard coin slide hardly thick enough to conceal one coin, will produce SEVEN “chinese coins” during the routine. The craftsmanship on this is amazing. Without the enclosed instructions you’d never figure out the method. Nicely decorated in yellow and black, the “coins” are what appear to be thin discs finished in red and gold.
