A Classy Version of Kurtz’s Psycho Kinetic Dice!

In the late 1990’s Gary Kurtz produced a limited number of the wonderful Psycho Kinetic Dice. It was a great effect and one of those I wish I’d kept (we all have a few of those!). This new item from Magic Wagon works on basically the same principle but using amazing props and without the need to palm anything or for the magician to touch any of the props at any time.

The props really are beautiful and they work 100% of the time. The basic effect begins with a prediction being placed in full view of the audience and four beautiful teak boxes with brass accents all resting on a tiny tray. The tray is placed in front of the magician and four spectators are each asked to take one of the boxes. They look inside to find a small ivory die. They can examine the box and make sure that the die rolls a different number each time. They can shake it a few times in the box with the lid on to ensure that the number is different each time. Once they are ready they give the box one final good shake and place the closed box back on the tray. Once each spectator has done this one of the spectators is asked to remove each lid and read off the top number of each dice. The number formed is precisely the same number as the prediction that has been in full view from the start.

It doesn’t get any cleaner than this. Their are no electronics and nothing is added or taken away.

The only potential issue is the dice are small so your audience needs to be fairly close to see them.  It would have been nicer if they were a little larger.

This is really one of my favorite items from the Magic Wagon Collector line. Highly Recommended!
