Three Coin Con by Eddie Gibson
(c. 1977) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)Effect: The effect is one of the World’s oldest. It emulates the Three Card Trick, the Three Shell Game and with the special props provided most of the hard practice is eliminated. Done with coins and three metal covers (caps). Three coins are shown, two Copper coins, one Silver . The Silver coin is positioned in the middle of the two Copper coins and all three are covered with Metal caps. Spectators are asked to keep their eyes on the Cap covering the Silver coin, as you attempt to prove that the hand is quicker than the eye!
The Metal caps are then quickly moved around and the positions interchanged. A spectator is requested to point out the Silver coin. The first time spectator is successful , but when magician speeds up the action, each time the helper attempts to find the Silver coin, he fails each and every time. Even when the position of the Silver coin is marked, no one can keep track of it! It’s here, there and everywhere, but never where they think it is !!!
