Samurai Sword Penetration by George Murray, Nielsen Magic
(c. 1992) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)A sword is pushed through the center of a tube and a solid ball is dropped in and then found to be threaded directly on the sword. Long unavailable this beautiful, rare and unusual prop includes a precision made gimmick that makes the magic happen.
Effect: A small sword is placed through the center of a tube. A red ball is dropped in on top. The sword is visible at all times on both sides of the tube. As the tube is revolved, the ball does not fall out. When the top of the tube is separated from the bottom, the samurai sword is found to be threaded through the ball. The spectator may remove it and all parts may be examined.
