Color Pack by Larry West, Emerson and West

(c. 1977) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

Effect: The magician states that a pack of cards is in fact a photographic color pack and has four cards selected. Four other cards, blank except for a single letter on each, are shown to spell F-l-L-M. The F-l-L-M cards are placed on the table, one on each of the selected cards.

The magician explains that this is contact photography and pretending the deck is a camera, “snaps” the pictures. The blank film cards are turned face-up to reveal that the pips of each of the selected cards have been printed beneath the F-l-L-M letters . . . but the film must be getting old as the printing has produced some odd effects.
