Andy Martin –
Block Go, the effect where a solid square block drops through two square tubes separated by a glass or plastic plate was invented by prolific British inventor and magician J.F. Orrin c. 1925. It has been recreated by large and small manufacturers ever since.
This is a beautiful version made by Worth Magic, before they became Milson-Worth Magic. Though it looks almost the same as the Milson-Worth version, though interestingly when it was featured in the Milson-Worth catalog they changed the name to “Block-O”. Anything to make it harder to track things down items from the past 🙂
