Hare-Raising Effect by Clarence Miller

(c. 1985,1999) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

This effect is based upon the Wonder Blocks or Bewlidering Blocks effect which was most likely invented by the German (Prussian) magic dealer and manufacturer F.W. Conradi as Conradi-Horster c. 1899 and described in Hoffman’s Latest Magic c. 1918.

Clarence’s first version was called Pento Blocks c. 1985 and this version c. 1999.  The size was 3 1/4″ x 15/16″ square, and Clarence made 117 of this style.

Effect: In Hare-Raising Effect the transposition of a black die in a stack of white dice occurs.  The finale transpires when the black die changes to a white.
